A transparent pathway to ocean recovery
Ocean Assist is the world’s first blue investment programme for measurable, science-backed marine regeneration.
What is Ocean Assist?
Ocean Assist is effectively the Restore pillar of the Roadmap 2050, that goes beyond compensation by encouraging the industry to actively give back to the oceans we heavily depend on. Ocean Assist is a collective, science-led approach to ocean recovery, combining structural industry commitments, transparent tracking, and guidance from leading marine scientists to turn investment into measurable impact.

Regenerative Contribution Units (RCU) drive ecological gains through quality hectares, restore biodiversity, and build habitat resilience.
Verified Emission Reductions (VERs) represent 23 tonnes of CO₂ removed via high-integrity nature-based solutions projects.
Together, 1 OAU treats climate action as a natural outcome of ecosystem repair, directly supporting biodiversity linked to the yachting industry’s supply chain.
How it works

- Supporting ESG and sustainability commitments
- Contributing to ocean regeneration and marine conservation initiatives
- Balancing emissions associated with yacht operations, charter activities, or corporate events
- Developing a tailored contribution strategy aligned with your organization’s environmental goals
